The applicant acknowledges and agrees that:

1. PONTE CITY or its Agent may:

  a) Perform a credit search on the applicants record with one or more of the registered Credit Bureau when assessing the applicant’s application to lease premises.

  b) Perform a criminal check on the applicant’s criminal record.

  c) Monitor the applicant’s payment behaviour by researching his/her record at one or more of the Credit Bureau

  d) Use new information and data obtained from Credit Bureau in respect of the applicant’s future credit applications

  e) Record the existence of the applicants account with any Credit Bureau.

  f) Record and transmit details of how the applicant has performed, and how the account is conducted by the applicant in meeting his/her obligations on the account.

2. Use information obtained from one or more credit bureau to assess future credit applications by the applicant and member of his/ her family.

3. The Applicant acknowledges and agrees that any information regarding his/her credit worthiness, defaults in payment to PONTE CITY, and details of how his/her account with PONTE CITY is conducted may be disclosed to any other creditor or the Applicant or to one or more Credit Bureau.

The tenant hereby consents that, and authorises PONTE CITY or the agent to, at all times: -

a) contact, request and obtain information from any credit or service provider (or potential credit or service provider) or registered credit bureau relevant to an assessment of the behaviour, profile, payment patterns, indebtedness, whereabouts, and creditworthiness of the tenant;

b) furnish information concerning the behaviour, profile, payment patterns, indebtedness, whereabouts, and creditworthiness of the tenant to any registered credit bureau or to any credit or service provider (or potential credit or service provider) seeking a trade reference regarding the tenant's dealings with the landlord. NOTICE: (Current tenants) Invoice / Statement PONTE CITY is affiliated to TPN Credit Bureau, a registered credit bureau, all account payment profiles, patterns and behaviour is recorded monthly with the credit bureau for the purposes as per the National Credit Act.
